Come True

Hey there

Where are you?

Where am I?

What’s the plan?

Do we see eye to eye?

Does the life I envision somewhat match yours?

I’ll do it all, to make it come true, ya know

Undo the knots of the Earth

To let our flowers bloom

To see you

But it’s hard, when I’m not sure

You’d like to see me

And take this world by storm

And set everything free

A lofty dream, yet mine to behold

But it’ll slip through the cracks

of my fingers

Without yours to take hold

Do you believe in the faith in my rhymes?

The love? The hope? The power to change

The Times?

If you do, if you do

If your heart races to the thought of these words

being true

Then send me your fears, your doubts

and your worries

I’ve got places to store them

Here in these guts,

Here in this strange mind, and

Here, in this hard heart

That’ll will surely turn soft

At the sight of you

The sooner that is

The sooner we can make this all

Come true
